Team Groupama : more organized than ever !

Eight sailors will take the start in this new edition of the Groupama Race: skipper Ludovic Puschiasis, joined by Gildas Mollo, Mathieu Aulard, Juliette Ambrioso, Félix Tron, Maxime Cohignac, Arthur Travers, and Adrien Garcia.

Used to sailing together, they are excited to be back on the water! “We’re all passionate, and we’re looking forward to living this great adventure together, especially with all the boats we encounter during the regattas throughout the year,” says Ludovic. The Groupama Race is also a chance to share their passion with the public: “It’s a fantastic event for the sailing world, but also for those who are unfamiliar with the sport,” he adds.

This crew is no stranger to the race. During the 2022 edition, two moments are forever etched in their memories. “Sailing under spinnaker at night in the north, under a full moon lighting up the sea, with the boat gliding perfectly through the waves… It was magical,” Ludovic recalls. “There was also the race’s finale with Snatch N’ Furious, we raced head-to-head in the lagoon all the way to the finish line, and seeing all those people on the dock when we arrived was incredible ! “ As the race draws closer, the skipper doesn’t hide his excitement: “We can’t wait to get there, we’re preparing, and we’ve made an training schedule to practice night sailing and get used to sailing in shifts,” he shares. Their ambitions: “Improve our race time and gain a few places compared to 2022.”
