Roamance is, above all, a close-knit team with “highly talented” sailors, as described by skipper Gordon Beath. Last year, they initially planned to sail to New Caledonia, but had to adapt their route and ended up heading to… Fiji! Where they stayed for five months. Proof that the most spontaneous decisions can sometimes lead to the most incredible adventures.

Gordon Beath already competed in the event in 2022 aboard the trimaran “Oceans Tribute”, and he has fond memories of the experience: “It was an amazing adventure, a mix of offshore sailing and great friendships. As we approached the finish line at dawn, congratulatory boats and media were there to capture the moment. The onshore activities were festive and fun!”

For the Roamance multihull crew, the journey matters far more than the result; “We want to stay calm and focused, but most of all, enjoy every moment together as friends,” concludes the skipper.
