There will likely be seven crew members aboard the monohull: Arnaud Rabatel, Olivier Martin, Yves Goiran, Pierre Maizy, Aurélien Tessier, Laurent Pouderoux, and Angye Winchester. “Above all, we are a group of friends who sail for pleasure”, explains Arnaud Rabatel, the skipper.

They are taking part in the Groupama Race again mainly because they love challenges and offshore sailing. This will be Blue’s second time at the start of the race, as the boat previously competed in 2022. “Three years ago, we particularly enjoyed the wild landscapes of the far north”, recalls the skipper. “Today, we feel quite relaxed; the boat is almost ready. Our goal? To do better than our 9th-place finish in the last edition!“
