The team is made up of Christophe, a seasoned skipper; Thierry, an experienced sailor; Élodie, a motivated beginner; Philippe, a skilled navigator; and Lauren, the crew’s communications lead, ready to share Boudicea’s journey with the world.
“We’ve all said it at some point, almost in a whisper, like a secret dream: ‘One day…’ Then May 2024 came, and we realized — ‘one day’ may never come. Waiting any longer might mean giving up. So we made a choice: it’s now or never.”
“Our crew is a mix of backgrounds and experiences, but what unites us is a shared desire to learn, to dare, and to push beyond our limits — together. Our island has seen dark days. But we choose challenge, adventure, and boldness,” says Christophe.

To fully embrace the adventure, they’ve chosen a fast, agile offshore sailboat: a Dufour 34 Performance, brought over from Australia a few months ago by the skipper himself. Their participation is a call to live fully — to chase your dreams today, so you won’t regret anything tomorrow.
