365 days to go o the 8th New Caledonia Groupama Race !

Dear fellow sailors,

On behalf of CNC (Cercle Nautique Calédonien) Noumea Yacht Club, I am honored to announce that the 8th edition of the New Caledonia Groupama Race will start on the June 9th, 2024, at Noumea.

The previous edition resulted in victory to the Sydney 38, Eye Candy, and the multihull Ruchour taking Line Honors. The weather was, once again, full of surprises, giving the competitors the opportunity to battle in and out of the world largest lagoon water, with choices made between various offshore and inshore options.

In 2024, shorthanded and Cruising categories will be available. The IRC will be the main rating, and a secondary ORC rating will be provided.
Feeding races are currently scheduled from Australia and New Zealand based Yacht club. Please contact your local yacht club for the details of those races. CNC Noumea Yacht Club’s staff will warmly welcome you at your arrival at Noumea.

A dedicated race village for the New Caledonia Groupama Race competitors will open from the June 5th, 2024.

CNC Noumea Yacht Club and its main race sponsor Groupama Gan Pacifique look forward to welcoming you at Noumea for this new edition, which will certainly be full of adventures.
